"HAPPY LEGS" FOR TEACHING YOUR DOG HOW TO STACK

If you haven't heard of "Happy Legs", it is a great way to train your dog just what you mean when you say "stand". Here are some photos of both Clouseau and Oscar standing on it.

OSCAR GETS A HAIR CUT

Dear Oscar now looks a bit like a Bichon since I took him to have all of his gorgeous coat trimmed off by a Bichon breeder in Puyallup. He was also n-n-neutered (have frozen semen at the International Canine Semen Bank). So here he is in his new sweater.

CLOUSEAU UPDATE

Clouseau has been to two shows since the AACDT Nat'l Specialty in Orlando. We drove up to Cloverdale for a CKC show on November 27 & 28th (Cotons can show in conformation in the CKC where they are now in the miscellaneous class). On the first day he won Best of Breed and went on to win the Puppy Toy Group where there were 16 breeds represented in the group. I am kicking myself that I didn't get a photo with the judge (Rogers).

Just two weeks ago we flew down to Claremont California to an ARBA show (also to visit my family which one can't do unless there is a dog show :-) Of the six shows, Clouseau won Best of Breed 5 times, Group first 5 times and Reserve Best in Show 4 times. GOOD BOY!! Then we, my mom and my daughter, and me and Clouseau, went over to Palm Springs for girl time at a great spa (Two Bunch Palms). We stayed at the ACE Hotel and Swim Club. Clouseau was the best behaved dog and would sit with us in his chair, calmly out by the pool or at breakfast in outside dining downtown. He was remarkable.
I will post his show photos when I receive them in the mail.

HERE THEY ALL ARE

THE HOLIDAZ

With the three Frenchies and the four Cotons, the canines out numbered the humans over the holidaz.

KEN AND BARB'S VISIT

I met Ken and Barb in Thailand around 10 years ago. They live near San Francisco and come to visit, if I'm lucky, once a year. Both are great dog enthusiasts although they have a cat :-) Anyone that comes to my house more than once is considered a great dog enthusiast.

FAMILY COMES FOR A VISIT

I'm going to have to do some catch-up on what's been happening around here since my past post which is now very old news. I'll start with when my daughter and son-in-law (Gibran and Adam) came up from Portland, OR with their 3 Frenchies. This is Clara, Mazzi and Blaze.
