EXPLORING THE OUTDOORS ON A SUNNY DAY

This month has not been the best. I've had two dear friends pass away. Pat Kapp, my Oscar's breeder died from pancreatic cancer and my friend of over 30 years that could always make me laugh until I cried, June, who died of a malignant brain tumor. Nothing better than having puppies to cheer one up. Here are some photos of the kids.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULY 2, 2009: 2 GIRLS AND 1 BOY

Ziggy is such a great little trooper. She surprised me when she woke me up at around 3 am this morning in labor. Her temperature had dropped to 98.3 around 8 pm yesterday, so I expected she was going to start but not quite that soon. The first little girl was born close to 5 am and the next little girl followed without much of a break. The little boy took one entire hour and that made me nervous but Ziggy was fine and comfortable. He was vigorous and vocal right away. They were all cephalic presentations (head first). I am greatly relieved to have everyone happy and healthy. Here are some pictures of the puppies.
