LOVE THEM, HERE THEY ARE AT ALMOST 3 WEEKS

They are starting to totter around now. Beignet is a little more active than her brother (still not sure what I'll name him) but it's Courvoisier for now and Cognac for short. In the first two photos, Beignet is on the left and Cognac on the right. The last photo is of Beignet.
I took a short video of them but can't seem to get it to work. I'll figure it out and post it later.

MONET & BRAVO PUPPIES 12 DAYS OLD

I can't believe that on Monday, they will be two weeks old. The little boy, Courvoisier now, is just starting to open his eyes. They both already have the haloing around their eyes and pigment is starting to come in on their little noses. The little girl, Beignet, also has dark skin around the right side of her muzzle. So I think they will have beautiful pigment. They are very good kids, and quiet too.

BIRTHDAY AT LAST!! BOY AND GIRL

Whew, up all night. First to come out at 3:30 AM was a BOY weighing in at 7 1/8 oz, then at 4:30 AM a GIRL weighting in at 4 1/2 oz. It's a relief to have them here, no problems and healthy. Here are their photos and one of the happy Monet.

DAY 62

The weather is cloudy and in the 70's today. Got to talk about the weather because there's nothing much happening here. I DO think that we'll have puppies today, wooo hoooo, because Monet's temperature has finally dropped and was 98.8 this morning. She's happy and just taking it easy. Here she is hanging out.

STILL WAITING

I've been monitoring Monet's temperature and so far it has only dropped down to 98.8. When it takes a free fall then we'll look for signs of labor. But for now, we're just waiting. The Pacific Northwest temperatures are still warm and sunny but down in the 80's now. It's beautiful out.

MONET'S X-RAYS = TWO PUPPIES

Just like we thought from the ultrasound, there are two puppies. I was getting a little worried that there was only one so I'm relieved to have this news. The vet thinks they have BIG heads. Look for the two spines.
